Even though Gary Chapman's blockbuster book, "The Five Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts" is extremely popular, it's actually based on a dangerous premise. The commitment to speak in another person's "love language" won't produce "love that lasts," as the subtitle suggests. Instead, it will create co-dependence, power struggle, score-keeping and drama.
